This morning I was getting ready to head out to the gym and decided to put together a new recipe for a Cricket Flours shake that I had been meaning to try. This cricket protein shake is a new twist on one of my favorite shake combinations for a Pineapple Banana Protein smoothie using cricket protein. Cricket Flours naturally has a slightly nutty taste that pairs perfectly with fruits such as banana and pineapple, but the added almond milk and fresh mint leaves provide a refreshing flavor that is a great to start the morning and fuel your next workout or adventure.
½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
2 tbsp Cricket Flours: 100% Pure
4 fresh mint leaves
Using a kitchen blender, add together all of the ingredients first starting with the Cricket Flours: 100% Pure, and following with the almond milk, banana, pineapple, and mint leaves. Begin blending your cricket protein smoothie on medium powder until all ingredients are smoothie and mint leaves are fully blended. Enjoy!
