This morning I decided to make a new Antioxidant Blended Cricket Protein Smoothie. I always love experimenting with new flavors and new ways to incorporate cricket flour and cricket protein in all different types of recipes for adding protein and nutrition. However, this morning I really wanted to focus on creating a cricket protein shake that had 10g of protein but that also had a delicious blend of fruits packed with antioxidants.
We have included our list of ingredients and directions for making your own cricket protein shake with the antioxidant blend of fruits, but feel free to experiment with your favorite fruits for added nutrition and healthy benefits. We chose to use our 100% Pure Cricket Powder and delicious frozen strawberries, cherries, pomegranate seeds, blueberries, and red raspberries. Enjoy!
1/4 cup frozen cherries
2 tbsp 100% Pure Cricket Flour
1 cup coconut milk
Using a kitchen blender first add in the coconut milk, peeled banana, and then follow with the 100% Pure Cricket Flour. Next, add in the frozen fruit and on medium power, blend all ingredients until smooth.
