Description

Cricket Flours: 100% Pure Cricket Powder

This Cricket Flours product is made with our fine grind cricket powder that is made from crickets raised in North America. We sustainably source our edible insects that are raised using healthy diet of protein and vegetables, and processed in FDA registered facilities.  Cricket Flours uses roasting and milling to create our cricket powder and clean protein to fuel your shakes, smoothies, baked goods and more!  Our products are made and packaged at our headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Our cricket flour naturally has a neutral and even slightly nutty taste, and has 80g of protein per cup, and 10g of protein per serving (17g).  Cricket Flours products are a great way to incorporate more protein and added nutrients such as calcium, iron, B12, B6, Omega-3s, Omega-6s, and BCAAs into your family’s favorite meals and recipes.  Our product comes in our 1/4lb, 1/2lb and 1lb packaging in resealable pouches.  For larger wholesale orders click here.

We also carry a full line of edible insect products so make sure to check out our pure cricket powder, protein powders, all purpose baking flour mixes, ready-to-bake brownie mix, or our new line of roasted crickets!

What Other Customers Are Saying:

“I was a little skeptical at first, however, I am glad I tried Cricket Flour. I am an endurance athlete and need high quality protein for before and after my workouts. I was challenged to do the Whole 30 program during January 2015…so I had to find a good alternative to my usual protein shakes. Thank you for a quality product and prompt customer service.”

– Jacolyn Wheatley

“I used this to make pizza and bread. Both turned out really well. I used a mix of 70% bread flour, 15% whole wheat, and 15% cricket flour. The cricket flour was able to produce normal sized bubbles in the bread which is great since I worried there might be cricket shards that could disrupt the gluten network. The taste of the pizza was indistinguishable. The taste of the bread had a slight hint of a cocoa type flavor, which was very nice. I think this flour would be optimal for a chocolate bread, which I hope to try in the future! In the meantime, I’m enjoying everything I made with this flour.”

– Zack

“The Cinnamon Cricket Flour muffins are some of the best I’ve ever tasted in my life. I ate my first one 5 minutes into a meeting, at the end of an hour, I had eaten 6.”

– Nate Gurol

“I have to say at first I was hesitant about eating Crickets but I liked the idea that they are environmentally friendly and nutritious. Now I like adding Cricket Flour to smoothies, peanut butter, muffins and chocolate chip cookies. My family didn’t even notice a difference. An easy way to add protein!!”
