This holiday season our team has been in full swing with production and just about anything and everything.  It is always a busy time of year for our business but also for friends and family too.

So the problem I kept finding is trying to be creative for the edible insect business but then also have time to use that same creativity for my loved ones as well.

So this year I have been wanting to tie them more together to share what I am doing, but to really just share a little bit more of the holiday spirit at these family gatherings and holiday parties.

So I hit the kitchen and came up with these delicious Peppermint Candy Cane Cricket Brownies that I could bring to gatherings with 14 crickets per brownie, but had that holiday magic and holiday cheer!

This recipe is SUPER easy to make and just takes a few ingredients to get started and you will have an amazing dessert to share with friends and family too.  So even if you are new to baking with edible insects or just dipping your toes into entomophagy, these will be a delicious place to start!

The recipe does use our Cricket Brownie Mix as the main base of the recipe, but you can always make your own cake or muffin mix and add in some Cricket Flours: 100% Pure Cricket Powder too if you wanted to switch things up.
