We love tart cherries, and decided to experiment with some of our favorite smoothie flavors with added 100% Pure Cricket Flour for added protein and nutrients. This smoothie has a tart taste from the cherries, with a hint of chocolate from the cocoa powder that combines to make a savory smoothie. Our Chocolate Covered Tart-Cherry Smoothie has a tart taste, but packs a high protein punch with added cricket flour. Enjoy!
1 cup frozen dark tart-cherries
2 tbsp 100% Pure Cricket Flour
1 ¼ cup almond milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ tsp cocoa powder
½ cup ice
In a blender, add frozen cherries, cricket flour, and cocoa powder together.
Next, add in ice, vanilla, and almond milk and blend until smooth.
