Bridget Franek is an elite runner training for the 2016 Olympic Trials. At the 2012 London Olympic Games she was a finalist in the women’s Steeplechase. She represented the United States in the IAAF World Championships in 2009 (Berlin, Germany) and 2011 (Deagu, South Korea). In college, she was an NCAA Champion in the Steeplechase in 2010 and a Division I All-American 10 times for Penn State University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a MBA in Sports Marketing from the University of Oregon. She currently lives in Eugene, Oregon and trains with the post-collegiate team, Team Run Eugene.
