Cricket Flour Protein

We recently got an email from one of our customers asking to make a new recipe using cricket flour and brussels sprouts.  This new Caramelized Maple Baked Brussels Sprout recipe is simple, fast, and taste great with notes of maple syrup.  This recipe is a great way to get the vegetables, nutrition, and protein you need, but with a taste that your family will love.  Check out the ingredients and directions below, and let us know what you think.  Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 cups halved brussels sprouts
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp Cricket Flours: 100% Pure
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. 

In small-medium food container mix brussels sprouts, olive oil, maple syrup, Cricket Flours: 100% Pure, salt, and pepper.  Cover the top, and then gently shake until fully mixed.

Using a baking pan or cookie sheet, line the bottom with tin foil and spread the covered Brussels sprouts across the pan.

Set on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the Caramelized Maple Baked Brussels Sprouts are golden brown.
